Giving Tuesday is on December 2 this year. We hope to make it another successful day of fundraising, as we work towards raising money for another another year of education for our students. Your donations help pay for their school fees, the school and university materials, all of their living expenses, including room and board at school, and medical insurance. If you are new to our fundraising efforts, here is what you need to know:
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that has become a valuable part of how we raise money. Each year, over the holidays, we ask new and recurring donors to help us raise money for a full year of scholarships for our students. Our annual fundraising goal is $15,000 and each year, we try to fundraise most of that on Giving Tuesday, where occasional matching campaigns help boost donations. Our holiday Giving Tuesday campaign is how we raise funds for school fees, meals, uniforms, textbooks, dorm expenses, health care, etc. And we know there is a lot going on in the world right now that makes it difficult to know where to send donations; we have been doing this for nearly 15 years and with all the ups and downs in the world, remain committed to getting our students through college and university.
