Even the smallest donation goes a long way in Tanzania. To give you a general idea of where your donation dollars go, here's a rough break down of our annual school expenses, per student:

- Primary school fees: 800-1000USD (depending on the grade and school)
- Secondary school fees: 1000-1500USD (depending on the grade and school)
- College and university fees, including living expenses and transport costs: 1500USD
- Boarding school supplies (bed sheets, blankets, towel, detergent, etc): 350USD
- Text books: 100USD
- School supplies for the year (pens, pencils, ruler, notebooks): 50USD
- Uniform set (2 pairs): 120USD
- Sports uniform set (2 pairs): 60USD
- Suitcases (some of the kids attend boarding schools that are over 12hours away and require suitcases for travel): 40USD
- Hygiene kits (underwear, clothes-washing bucket, soap, toothbrush, etc): 35USD
